BIRF is a not-for-profit association representing the interests of cross-border vehicle dealers that are independent. The dealers that we represent import cars from USA and Canada to Sweden. (Sweden is the country in Europe with most American cars). It is getting harder and harder to import cars to Sweden from countries outside Europe because of all the new regulations from the European Union. BIRF is pushing the Swedish government and the authorities so that it will be possible to import cars even in the future. So far it has bin working out very well but we still want a lot of changes in the national regulations so that it will be easier to import cars.
